Urban Mud, founded by artist Mary Mackey, serves as a welcoming space for art-making in Colorado. With a career spanning decades and multiple mediums, Mary created Urban Mud to foster growth, camaraderie, and community among ceramicists of all backgrounds.

Located in Denver's Santa Fe Arts District, Urban Mud features a gallery space in the front and a co-op studio in the back. While all styles of ceramics are encouraged, the studio specializes in modern art that pushes boundaries, inviting artists to explore and experiment in a creative, supportive environment.
